W.O. Riley Park Revitalization Project
Master Planning & Design has been completed for W.O. Riley Park to upgrade many outdated features.  In 2013, the Town advertised for a financing package for the engineering/architecture and construction of new tennis courts, basketball court, and fencing, tennis court lighting, an event area, a renovated playground, spray pad area, maintenance building, new restroom, landscaping, signage, and other site improvements.

On August 28, 2013, the Park Commission, Town Council, WEC, and interested citizens met to view and give input on the final design by Land Planning & Design Associates (LPDA).  Check out the presentation and the plan.  The renovation includes some unique play areas and equipment that will be sure to thrill visitors to our park.  (Please note that the design includes "placeholders/graphics" for equipment, and that palettes, equipment type, design, etc. are subject to change.)  In the fall of 2013, the basketball and tennis courts (6) were completed.  The lower four courts are lighted, and play can occur until 11 pm, with the assistance of a push-button system.
